Pawtucket Restaurant Community

Each year, Pawtucket hosts it annual Restaurant Week to celebrate and promote its unique restaurants offerings. Pawtucket has a number of restaurants offering authentic Latin American, Caribbean, and Cape Verdean/Portuguese cuisine, unique cafes and bakeries, and quality diners and pubs.

Pawtucket Restaurant Week 2022 is scheduled concurrently with the Pawtucket Arts Festival from September 8th – September 19th. Pawtucket Restaurant Week 2019 is taking place in conjunction with Central Falls Restaurant Week and will be from September 22^nd – 28^th. Restaurant Week features a number of local restaurants offering meal specials that best exemplify each restaurant’s cuisine type.

Restaurant Week also features a celebration  of Pawtucket’s empanada and patty-making community at Empanada-Fest! Empanada-Fest features emapandas and patties from various geographic backgrounds including Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Portugal/Cape Verde, and Jamaica. This event is unique to Pawtucket and the concentration of emapanda/patty makers in Pawtucket and our sister City of Central Falls.

Winners from Empanada-Fest 2021 included Matos Bakery, Las Delicias De Mi Tierra, Caprichos Antioquenos Bakery, and La Sorpresa Bakery.
